Hi Trevor,
Welcome to the forum. We haven’t had much in this section for a while and I’ve been itching to find out more about concours events and what makes winning cars stick out from other classic cars.

In a show event, it must comprise of more than taking an old car and shining it up. There is a lot of competition so what is it that would make one car stand out from another? I know that you can go such extremes as lining all the screws and nuts up. You can dress all of the tubes and wires and pipes in the engine and make everything look great, but if you have a whole line of cars done up like this, how would you decide a winner?

I would be interested in hearing of tips and tricks from the winner’s circle. Do they have any magic tricks or is all just time and love of the vehicle that makes them look so good!!

Take Care Out There
Brian
