I was listening to the radio Saturday morning (FM104). The sports news was on and my attention was drawn to a very piece of F1 news. They claimed that Eddie Jodan had sold a major stake in Jordan GP racing to Jackie Steward, and JS would be taking over the day to day running of Jordan. EJ had then invested about 20 million in Coventry FC, and would be turning his attentions in this direction. Then, to top it all off, the next sports news revealed that Ecclestone had announced that EJ would be his successor, and that he would head F1 in 2001. :eek:

So it was April the first. But this couldn’t have been a joke, could it? I suppose it’s a bit far fetched when you think it over. Besides, I couldn’t find any mention of it on some of the F1 sites. Was I FOOLED? :confused: :(
