Yeah we are hoping to have a 6 car stand for the day with some the live action arena beside us :-)
Sounds good, will be interested in seeing that!!

What a great f*cking day! :D
The car show at the curragh yesterday sure was a day to remember, the cars, the sounds, and lets not forgat the girls;) Nice to see a variety of different cars at the show, with some focusing on bodystyling, some on pumping ICE, others on just pure horse-power enhancing mods, and a couple with them all!!
Junior's stand was very impresive with a nice civic with two-tone paint, a lovely scooby, 106 GTI, lancia integrale, GTO, and a couple of nice twin-cams.
The beemers and the twiners put on a great show for the crowd(when they could be seen through the clouds of smoke and bits of rubber) and the stunt show was something else, the corsa on two wheels (with two lovely models in it :naughty: ) was the highlight for me.
Other cars worth mentioning was a lovley yellow Jordan styled honda civic, a beautiful white golf, a pug 205 with 8 6*9 speakers on the back shelf alone to go along with various amps, subs, tweeters, mids put in other places round the car (major sounds), and a red van which also had a serious amount of ICE installed.
Im sure im forgeting loads of other highly impresive motors.
As i say, great day and roll on the next event!
Gav... :smoke:
Nicely said Gav.
Yes it was a good day out for all the family ;).
A lot to take in from all the cars that were there.
Yet again, another close call, while Russ was displaying his 2 wheel driving skills. Myself and another photographer jumped out of the way as Russ came to sudden stop and back onto 4 wheels, 3 feet in front of us. ( time to change the underware again :) )
I will have photos of the event up on eforecourt were soon, so watch this space.

We eventually pulled off a Ten Car stand ... that civic was a four base five stage flip color .. not two tone .. tut tut ...
Anyone get any good pictures of me hanging out of the Cam ?
Sorry bout that Junior :embarass: , it sure was a very impressive looking civic anyway. I was trying to remember the other motors you had there. Could you give us a run down of the ten cars you had on ur stand, and which one you thought was the best. That GTO is something else, and nice to see the lancia delta integrale there, dont see many of them about!
Gav... :smoke:
I'm surprised that Gav seen any of the cars at your stand Junior.
He was too busy, asking women had they any modifications of their own. ;)
There was a couple of women there who REALLY needed a bit of modification! :disturbed What was the story with that girl in the white leather nurses uniform, no thanks!
Gav... :smoke:
Oh sh!t yeah. Who in their right mind thought that she would be able to promote anything. (must of been 'daddys' company)

We eventually pulled together a stand Thursday consisting of
- Two Twin Cams [The Diff Kings]
- A brand new Civic Type R
- A Savagely Modified Seat Ibiza ...
- A Starlet Turbo knocking on the door of 160 Brake
- A Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evo
- A Four door Rwd Cossie
- A dead low and phat Saxo
- The Twin Turbo GTo
- A Impreza Turbo
- A 106 GTi
- And the Magic Flip Civic
You can read more about the VR4 at www.cruiseirl.com/cars/vr4.php
Impresive collection of motors alright :groovy: , That GTO really is something else! I like them new civic type R's too, except for the gearshift being part of the center console, but i'm sure I could learn to live with it if I had one!
So what was your fav motor at the show boys & girls??

There was a silver MK II Golf that looked so fcukin smooth ya'd never believe it ... There was the Predator P1 Pretzel as well ... Sean O'Dwyer and the white Golf got car of the show ...
I think the Delta did it for me .. although that silver MK II kinda does make it difficult ..

I'll go out on a limb here - I think most modified cars absolutely suck - the idea of drving an Opel Corsa 1.2 or VW Golf 1.4 with plastic surfboards tacked on on both ends, 19' liquorice strip tyred wheels and a stereo with dvd and a boot filled with subwoofers and amps (usually pumping out noxious white noise) causes the prospect of meeting my lunch again to come closer than I feel comfortable with.
And by the way, your insurance policies are all void if you haven't disclosed all the "improvements"
Hi everyone,

Have any of these cars you have just posted pics of had anything more than cosmetic or ICE modifications? Sorry, but that Honda Civic in particular is a perfect example of something I wouldn't be seen dead in. If it only has a standard 1.4 or something as well, it really should be taken out and shot to put it out of its obvious misery. Does any car actually have the smallest, tiniest need for a front spoiler that looks like the front door of a landing craft or a back wing that could be used as a tea tray by the jolly green giant? Does it qualify for any form of discussion in the performance cars forum? Should there not be a forum for butt ugly taste/pointless aberrations or something? If I'm insulting someone's p&J well then tough, you are obviously not a shrinking violet if you drive this eye(and probably ear)sore.
