Well I think that it will be a wet track :), and so I figure that a lot of drivers will spin off in the wet. But you sure can't beat Schumy under those conditions. Lets all pray for rain and for an exciting race with plenty of pit stops for tyre changes. So on that note I'll go

1. M Schumacher
2. G Fischella
3. H-H Frentzen

I'd say Schumi will win espically if it's anyways wet .. Hak has never proven his Wet Weather abilities ..that I can remember ... Coulthard Frentzen and Villenue and Schumi Minor could be the main interests of the day if they manage to keep all four lumps of Rubber on the track

cheers

Well Spy, I'm afraid to say that I don't agree with your predictions, i'd say the results will look more like
1. Frentzen
2. Hakkinen
3. Button :D
All bets will be taken! :p

Well the good news is that showers are forecast for the weekend - Friday, Saturday AND Sunday, so we should have a good race in store (so long as its not torrential rain). The last wet race I can remember was in Spa, which brought Jordans first ever F1 win. Now that race was a cracker, one of the best in a long time. A massive pile up at the start, the likes I've never seen before, Fisichella crashing into the arse of someone, and Schumacher crashing into the back of Coultard. An Action packed thriller! Lets have some more this weekend please. Come on Mr. Director!.

Tony, was that the same race that Hakkinen did the 360 degree spin twice and still managed to stay on track??? What a great race that was, all the way to the flag.

What a difference the rain makes !!!!

Drivers start your engines..

So guys, would I be right in saying that were praying for rain 20 minutes into the race.... ;) :p

If it does rain and Shumacer gets out in front then expect an easy win for him.On the other hand if the rain f*ucks up qualifying like it did in France last year then anybody could do it.I hope it does rain as the first couple of races this year have been something of a procession.

Jordan up front... nice one!!!! I wonder how they will all pan out at tommorrow's last qualifying session. There's more rain on the way for saturday and sunday.

I love a race where it starts to rain about 20 mins into the race. The panic of the pit lane with the teams trying to get their cars tyres changed before they spin off the track. Then all the grand masters of the rain show how's it done. So Watch out for M. Schumacher, R. Schumacher, Heinz-Harald Frentzen and J.Alesi

I can't wait for sunday. Let's hope Jordan do well...

Well another boring race - just another procession. Where the hell was all the rain? It made for a cracking qualifing. Well at least Button didn't finish in the top 3, I'm already sick to death http://www.eforecourt.com/UBB/sick.gif of Murrey et all going on about how good he is. If he turns out exactly like Herbert this he'll be yet another *great* British driver who's unfortunate enough to be ****e because of the car - NOT!

I must agree with you lads, what a disappointment the race turned out to be in the end. Just another procession is right. F1 now needs some major changes if it’s to bring back in some of the excitement of yonder years. Simply watching and waiting for pit stops to see if a pass can be made is becoming a bit boring to be honest. We need more passing manoeuvres, more collisions, more 'locking of wheels' around the bends - just like in the bike GP's. For Gods sake Ecclestone, we need more ACTION!

It was as fupping boring ... thank god I had a Eircom league match to photograph or I would have shot someone with the boredom .. there was about two interesting parts .. Coulthards Move on Rubiniho ... and Trulli passing Jacques...

Otherwise the words Funeral and Procession seem to spring to mind .. F1 is lacking in the Mad Man McCoy driver .. it's just gone BORING

Think about it .. try and defeat the criticism that it's "Stoopid to watch the same cars go round and round and round after one another"

All,
I don't entirely agree with you all saying that the race was boring. There were some good overtaking manouvers out there for a change.Coulthard on Barrichello into Stowe,Trulli on Villeneuve & Ralf Shumacher passing Michael & Villeneuve in the 1st couple of laps.

Agreed Astra there was some moments I missed the start .. but three or four overtaking moments do not make a full GP interesting .. espically when the winning or losing of the race isn't involved ....

It looked like he was complaining in the garage that he couldn't select a gear .. Hydrualic failure seems to most to be the generic term for either driver error or we haven't a clue wot went wrong ..
