I recently bought a Mitsubishi eclipse 2003 GTS manual Tranny. The car was bought in april. Since then I have came across so many probs. My tranny is so messed up that my gears grind my clutch. in 1st, 2nd, 4th, and reverse gets stuck. I took it to the dealership and they claimed to fix it but it never was fixed. Now at 15,000k i experienced the same problem but worse and now my clutch has gone out. Can my transmission have placed a big affect on my clutch. THey are trying to get me to pay 1400 and I dotn think its my fault needless to say I have took it in twice. This is the 3rd and I have took my car in for several problems. Fluid leaking from engine, malfunctions, to windows. Someone help me. I filled a claim with them and it is tryin to get worked out. Any Suggestions

a 2003 huh? That vehicle is too new to have any of these problems. I mean the issue here is not even fixing the problems. A vehicle that young with that many issues has to be replaced by Mitsubishi. No two ways about it.

I'd go there to the dealership and tell 'em "look, there's way too many bloody problems (serious ones too) with a fresh 2003 car. I demand a replacement, or you'll see a great full page article in the newspaper tomorrow that describes what crooks you people are, and I will make sure it runs in the paper until you replace the car, or you go outta business"

If you think you can't pull this off yourself, get a mean looking friend (preferably a man) to go with you and lay down the law for them.

Don't even bother asking for those issues to be repaired. A 2003 vehicle shouldn't have those problems to begin with, PERIOD.
