The final leg of the farmers protest reaches Dublin tomorrow morning. All those €40,000+ 02 reg 'farm machinery' - expect traffic chaos! (Did anyone see the picture of the farmer in the Herald last night? The sign on his tractor read “I’m a poor farmer”…while his reg was 02 LK!)

So does anyone know the exact routes they are taking, and the times they are setting off at?

One route I know of is from Maynooth down the Lucan bypass and down into the city centre.

And then we have to endure it all over again with their exit from the capital to enjoy afterwards

I can only confirm that a tractor convoy will be leaving Goffs (in Kill) at about 10-10.30 am Friday morning and will proceed via Naas Rd, Crumlin Rd. into city centre.

Apparently, they will have a Garda escort, and will be using the hard shoulder and bus lanes whenever possible.

The are due to be out of the city by 3pm.

I got stuck behind a load of them last night as i was driving home. I thought I would be save on the back roads to kilcullen. Guess again....

It was a strange site to see a line of tractors with flashing orange lights snaking down the pitch black roads. ( it was like something from the film E.T. ) :)

Hope I don't get caught later on today.
