My windows wont go down!!! :( :(

I have a 1990 Buick Century Limited, and the drivers side and passenger side windows wont go down. When I push the button there is absolutely no sound. So I dont think its the motor, I already checked the circuit break and its not the circuit break. So I'm thinking that its gotta be the switch, or maybe the ground wire, or maybe something else, but anybody have any suggestions? Also anybody know if there is a fuse box under the hood i should check, cause I checked the on in the glove compartment. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and if you could tell me how and where to check things, thanks a lot!

Hi, there is actually a set of relays (and maybe some fuses) under the hood on most models. I'd start checking there.

However, if one of the fuses was faulty, I tend to think it would affect all 4 power windows. So what you want to do is start with all the fuses, and then move onto other thinks like the switch etc..

Yah, i figured there may be a fuse box under the hood, but i couldnt find it when i looked. And also when i took apart the door, i couldnt find anything that was wrong with the switch, i just kept pushin it and lookin and either its fried or something doesnt work. Is there any other place that may not be working that would cause the windows to not work, remember only the two front windows.
