With some alarms its possible to turn them off using a key that was provided. Were you given such a key for the alarm? If so take a look under the bonnet and try and locate the alarm box within the engine bay. Switch off the alarm using the alarm key. Try to start the car then to see if you have any joy.
Either way you can always phone the dealer who installed the alarm for advice.
Also if you were provided with a manual for the alarm then take a look to see if there’s any info regarding your situation and any possible solutions. Alternatively if you know the make and model of the alarm try a Google (http://www.google.com) search for it.

on a rover 200 series factory alarm,,,once the battery is connected up,,,open and close the drivers door 3 times with the bonnet and all other doors shut,,,turn the alarm on and off 3 times with the fob,,,this should reset the alarm if not the alarm has lost its code and needs dealer attention or a car alarm specialist/auto-electrician to by-pass the alarm.....hope that helps

My Rover 216 had an aweful alternator - the 10 minute drive to and from work with lights & stereo on would mean i'd need to jump start it at least once a week.
Dunno if it's a rover thing or specific to my car.

...then click your heels three times. Ensure you are wearing the ruby slippers...
Sorry. I'll show myself the door...
