The GP is back to spain this weekend, and if last race (where as many as 16 dropped out of one class) is any indication, racing will be furious. The first six 500 races have seen 5 different winners and 9 different riders entering the podium.

On another note, Joey Dunlop, 48 and father of 5, has won 3 races so far during the IoM weeks, making his total of wins 26 (twenty-six!). That's twice as many as the second best, Mike Hailwood. Not bad for a pub owner, do you think? Of course, he does all his winning on Hondas (and now you know what I ride :D )

But back to the beginning - if you have access to Eurosport and like action, watch the motorcycle races this weekend, beginning at 10AM GWT.

Well after spending a stomping weekend at the Monaco GP last weekend ( :D) I'm missing the motoring excitement and suffering cold turkey http://www.eforecourt.com/UBB/disturbed.gif. So I guess I'll be tuning in to Eurosport to relieve the pain http://www.eforecourt.com/UBB/sad.gif, lets hope its as exciting as the previous Spanish MotoGP.

BTW, talking of the IoM TT races, there was quite a few deaths during the event. Is this a common occurrence?

Yeah, it's a rare year when nobody dies on IoM, be it crazy visitors or racers misjudging their own abilities.

Dunlop, who now has a total of 26 wins under his belt and has been riding there for 25 years, has only had one crash as far as I know, when he was taken out by another rider. Road skills differ from track skills, and JD is one of the best road racers in the world.

Well I watched most of the first and last races, and I must say they were packed full of action. The rain certainly makes for a very unpredictable race, exactly like F1 :) It was good to see Rossi up on the podium again.

Now on to a serious note, no hang on a second I think this deserves a NEW thread...
