rear wheel arch noise

I`ve just put 17"`s with 205/40`s on my 1995 civic coupe, its not lowered but the rear arches are scaping if more than 2 people in the car. I dont want to go back to 16". What can i do?

Hello flyonix,

There are rubber spacers you can buy from car parts stores. These spacers go between the spaces in your springs and give them extra support. So that way they won't get depressed as much when more people sit in the car.

You would need 4 of them initially. Try that, 2 on each side, if you still don't get the desired resilt, get another 4 and install them on your springs, preferably 1/4 of the way in, from each end of the spring.

That will most likely (90%) solve your problem. And it is the cheapest fix. Those rubber spacers shouldn't be more than a few buck for a pair.
