I have a VolvoS60 with electric Sunroof. The sunroof tends to squeak, or to be more precise sounds like a creaking of panels, from time to time. This tends to be worse if the car has been left parked up for a while in hot weather.

Any ideas???

There's a silicon compund available for use on all the rubber seals on your car. You can get it at larger auto supply stores, or if you don't find it there, try your dealer.

This thing comes in a bottle with an applicator that looks like a cotton swab. You have to apply this compount to the frame/rubber/moving parts of your sunroof a couple of times a year. That'll take care of it. Don't use grease or WD-40 or anything like that. They'll just help acumulate more dust and debris and eventually seize your sunroof.
