Either Johnny Herbert has lost the plot altogether, or he knows that he's about to be ditched by Jag. He has attacked Jaguar claiming a lack of progress after another poor result on the weekend, stating...

"The car is almost exactly the same one as we had in Melbourne. There has been almost no development at all and I am not aware of any more coming.

"Cosworth are bringing out a new engine in time for Austria but that's it. All we have done this year is get on top of engine reliability problems, but we're still having everything else break.

"Really this team is still Stewart. Jackie and Paul have gone, but that's it. This is still a small team - if you look at Stewart's history it was all crap apart from last year when they lucked into a good

So I guess we'll have one less crap driver in F1 next season :D

IMO, we won’t be experiencing any loss in F1 next season if Herbert’s gone. Let the younger more exciting drivers have their chance. Bring in some more Latino flair, just like in the Euro2000, that’s what I say. What we need now is another Senna, and maybe it’ll come in the form of Montoya, who knows?

I feel sorry for JH really. That awful crash ended his career really, and apart from one glory day for Stewart, he hasn't done anything. I think its out of respect that he still has a seat.

I heard that his foot is so badly mangled that he has to sleep with socks on to avoid scaring the wife. Now if that isn't a message to retire, what is?
