Hi all. Thinking of getting a jet wash for my car. I am little worried to what pressure is safe to use on a car. Has anyone got any ideas? I have used one or two of the cheap ones in the past and the pressure was ****e. Can anyone recommed a make or model?

Just while were on the subject, seen buffers on sale in argus. The most expensive on sale is €50. Are these any good?

Please help....

one of those small Karcher ones. I got it for 110 Euro in DID or Argos. Great little machine and ideal for weekenders. You don't really want anything too powerful anyway.

Good stuff.

So you recommend the Karcher k 110 Presure washer Brian?

Taking the back roads down here in Kildare, has left the car a a nice light brown colour.

So I hoping that one of these units will make light work of the mud. :)

What about the buffer brian. Can a €50 buffer from argus do any damage to my car, or am I safe to use it?

Cheers Phil.

The quality isn't great. You can have it if you want but you need to get a few bonnets for it. Funny, it was the same price a few years ago!!

Otherwise, I would say keep applying by hand. If you want a good applicator pad, give me a shout. I got some that are hand-size and you wax a car pretty rapidly with it.
