Dear Friends:
I have a Ford Escort Turbo Diesel 1.8 1997, I have recently changed the battery and it was working ok, one morning after a couple of weeks the car would not start again, I recharged the battery and it started, but now it has the battery indicator on the dashboard permanently on. And the car is not charging the battery while driving instead it drains it, so I have to charge it every night. Could some one please guide me on what to do and what to check. Thanks in advance for your help.
PS. I am a very experienced computer engineer, we could trade tips on how to repair your computer and you can help me on how to maintain my car.
