Secondly... Why the new site? I heard no comments on MW about the contents... or is it simply to build up a following and then sell the site?????

Wasn't it around October that the news broke about someone being interested in acquiring Motorweb? If I remember correctly , certain Motorweb contributors were mighty curious. In the "About Us" section, it says -

"October 1999....We were frequent users of other motor web sites, but quickly became dissatisfied with their 'flat feel' and unimaginative interfaces..."

This can quickly be translated to -

"October 1999...We were frequent users of a particular website, but quickly copped on that someone was going to make a pot of cash off our backs - we decided to do the same."

With a few extra gifs thrown in and some Flash work, sure doesn't it look like an entirely different site now begorrah?

What I'd like to know is, who was involved in setting eForecourt up? BTW, fair play to ye in getting this up and running.

How about a different loading logo for each area ??
