Scooter, splutters and stops!

Hi can anyone help me.

Recently, by mistake I put about half a litre of 2-stroke in with my petrol. The bike ran ok, but started to splutter before finally giving up the ghost.

I was told to syphon out the fuel tank, empty the carburettor and clean the spark plug.

I done this and 'hey presto' it worked! The bike was running perfect for about five days, now the same thing has happened.

Does anyone have any advice on what needs doing.

I'd go back and do (or change) the spark plug again. Could be residue was still in the system. I'd also try some kind of fuel line cleaner. Can't think of the brand name....
