I need to replace the clutch in my escort. I can manage it myself with removal instructions. can you help

Changind the clutch on a front wheel drive car such as yours is usually bit of a pig.

Make sure you got all the tools and parts to hand before you start ... it's difficult to nip off to get that 1 tool/part you forgot when your car is in pieces on your driveway! :)

If you balk at the £15 or so Haynes are charging for them ... remember that it'll tell you everything you can do to the car, so when something else needs changing, you've already got instructions for it.
