Now for all of you who thought the previous ones were too difficult: I'll throw in an easy one. Becos, If you know this one immediately, hang in there for a second or mail me a personal mail, just to let the others sweat a bit longer...

It reminds me of the Starsky and Hutch car? Or is it the car used in the Levi's ad then? Yes, I think its the Levi's one! But I'm not sure of the make.

I don't suppose there are any marks for guessing its American???.

Thought not.

I think its like the Dukes of Hazard's car..... a Dodge Charger, I think.

Well Smokie, you're actually Spot on there.
Yes it's American, and yes it's a Dodge Charger!! Well done.

Chancer you were on the right track and you spotted well it was a car that featured in a TV series, but it wasn't Starskey & Hutch you saw it in, but it was of course "The Dukes of Hazard". The series was absolute cr*p with probably the worst acting I've ever seen, but boy, did I watch it anyway... because it was great seeing that red Charger being thrown about the place...
However, I would actually prefer the scenes in "Bullit" where Steve McQueen is chasing a black Dodge Charger R/T through the street of San Francisco.

The Dodger Charger first came to light in 1966, but got a revamp in 1968 . This was (IMHO) the best incarnation of the Muscle car with the Dodge Charger R/T (Road & Track) at the top of every young American Schoolboys dreamlist. It had a 7.2 litre V8 with approx 380bhp under the bonnet. Not particularly a high top speed but, totally in line with the priorities of the Americans, an absolute blistering acceleration performance. These cars were used as Dragsters. As the name suggest, ready for the "Road" and the "Track".

Chancer you’re useless! This one was easy, and you still couldn’t get it. http://www.eforecourt.com/UBB/smoke.gif

Actually Paul, I need to thank you for helping me get this one.

I recognised the car as the Dukes of Hazards car but I wouldn't have known its name except for the fact that you mentioned it on the "Movie Cars!" thread recently.

Blast! I should have been a bit more carefull throwing about those facts ;), but then again I didn't bank on people remembering all I've saying ...

And Tony, you're cutting in on Chancer, but at least he's trying!! I didn't see any suggestions from you end!! If you're so clever, name me the make of car Starsky & Hutch actually drove in the series !!! :D

DOH! I knew I shouldn’t have opened my virtual mouth http://www.eforecourt.com/UBB/disturbed.gif.

Wasn’t it a Ford Torino? A Grand Torino even? IMO its one of the most recognisable cars that has appeared on TV, ever! What a classic!

Ok Tony, I'll let you off this time, as it was indeed a Ford Torino. So you do know you "Yank Tanks". The next car will be another one from across the big pond, because you seem to be better up on those.

Watch this space...

Or even better why not use the Private Messages? These can be accessed from the main forums menu, simply scroll to the bottom of the main menu and click on Inbox. It’s exactly like email, but with the added advantage of being able to send messages to those members who don’t have their email address on public display, or who are using free email accounts that they don’t regularly check for new mails. HTH.

Okay, you've laid down the gauntlett. But for the first one do you prefer USA or European, or both?!!!. ;)

By the way for those of you who still dont know the last car its a 1963 Studebaker Avanti Series 1, as I told Paul on a private mail.
