Help!! Engine Reving

:realmad: Please pleeeeeese help me, im going insane with this car!!! I have a ford fiesta K reg, been having probs with it for some time. The engine began racing and reving high so took for tune up, they found four faults, road speed sensor, air charge temp switch, throttle position sensor and idle tracking switch, i had the throttle thingy done, that seemed to cure the racing and revving, then the day after the engine wasnt getting a spark so wudnt go, so had a new crank shaft sensor fitted, NOW the engine has begun racing reving high!!! :mad: :mad: im at my wits end and fast running out of money :sad: been advised to get the other faults fixed this will cure the problem, wot do u reckon : :confused: do i need to get them all fixed or is it sumat simple??? thank u soooooooooooo much :kiss:

Not that this is the cure for all engine problems, but have they looked at the ignition timing at all? It's a basic and cheap task to carry out and you may be surprized at what bad timing can cause. Have them check that first things first. It shouldn't cost you much to adjust it if it's off either.
