Hey,

Im about to replace the ford 5000rds EON radio in my car with a new kenwood radio/cd player(still waiting on delivery). I never fitted one before so im just wondering if anyone has a few instructions on how to go about it?

I've already bought a facia adaptor but do i need to get any wiring or anything?

A chap down in the local ford garage said he'd pull out the ford radio for me no charge! Apparently ya need some special tool to take it out!?

Cheers
Dave

Don't know much about the connections on your new unit but if they are different to original go to a car hi fi shop or good accessory shop and tell them the kenwood model no and the details of car you putting it into and they will supply you with a wiring adaptor that will just plug in and convert connections for you. Don't about price in Ireland but over here in uk it would cost between £ 5 - £ 10.
It is as simple as that, good luck!
