I have an 1993 Rf600 with a pain of a problem, could someone shed some light on this please.
Fistly if I ride the bike every day I starts without any problems or choke first thing in the morning.
But if I leave the bike for 3 days or more it take about 1 minuite of trying to start it before it fires up, when it does finally go it starts up on 2 cylinders then 3 for about 20 secs and then finally 4, and all is ok.
Secondly when the bike is warm/hot i have a complete lack of power between 3 & 4 K rpm it just splutters and wants to stall 'till it gets past 4 and then it blows out the cobwebs and off it goes.. (this only really happens if i'm in the wrong gear so i just drop it down a gear to get past the 4k rpm)
Last but not least when the bike is warm/hot and I stop for about 20mins (not before and not really after) it just don't want to know the bike will fire up but i can hold the throttle fully open and its just like its on tick over, when i let the throttle off it just stalls then i have to try to start it again, this happens 3 or 4 times it then fires up and all is ok.
Any ideas :naughty:
