Bought my son a '98 Skoda Felicia 1.9 Diesel. Very nice wee motor - better than his Suzuki-engined '97Corsa that used more oil than petrol.
Anyway, it wont let us alter the level of the headlights, which are currently point sadly downwards.
It has what seems to be a vacuum operated headlight levelling system. I took out the gubins that seems to be the level selector / vacuum pump from behind the dashboard, but there are no electrical feeds into it. Nor is there an electrical feed at either end of the two pipes that come out of this gubins where they going into each headlight. Nor are there any stray plugs looking for a mate under the dashboard. There is no hissing noise when you turn the selector.
How does thing work and what is likely to be wrong?
Thanks to anybody who can help.
