Esat BT has an offering called Advantage PLUS. For €25 per month, you can call any Irish fixed line local and national (32 counties) phone number for up to an hour each call as many times as you like - visit http://www.esatbt.com/ie/residential/homephone/advantage_plus_index.html for the official info.
BT claim that call costs are cheaper then Eircom Gold Option rates, which sounds like a good bargain.
I’ve looked into this a little. They have many different comparative rates in a table, and the costs look cheaper then Eircom. The only additional charge is Eircom’s line rental.
Has anyone investigated BT’s Advantage Plus package? Any unknown disadvantages, or is it a real money saver which we should all be falling head over heals for? :?:
