This new broadband product uses wireless technology to provide an 'always-on unlimited usage' broadband service. Its biggest claim is that you do not need to use a telephone line at all, unlike DSL with requires one.

The other significient difference to be seen is that there are no download caps, unlike other DSL solutions.

The specs are:

Download Speed: 512 Kbps
Upload Speeds: 128 Kbps
Contention Ratio: 40:1
Download Caps: None

The price at launch is €99 setup and €29.99 a month with a requirement for a 30 day written notice to cancel.

There is also a Breeze 1MB Lite offering. This costs €149 installation and connection charge and €48.40 a month. This solution requires a small antenna to be placed at the top of the individuals home.
