Anyone know where I can get plates made in a sympathetic style for a '67 Volvo 1800S? Most places seem to only do standard EU plates.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi 03D,
The only place I have come across authentic old style plates (i.e. large font) is a guy from Co. Meath who usually attends autojumbles and car shows.
I agree, the new font (even when 'silver-on-black') plates look terrible on older cars.
I'll see if I can find his details and PM them to you.
BJ.

These are the type of plates he sells -
N.B. - 3 1/8 inch digits (original Irish plates 3 1/2 digits)

I have just bought today a pair of classic type plates from Ashgrove Interparts of Kill Ave made while I waited. Cost €20 the pair
