View Full Version : Car resprayed?
Can anyone recommend where I could get my BMW 320 resprayed?
The car is currently green and I want to change it to black.
I want a professional job as the whole car will be done. Any ideas how much this would cost?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I've one or two numbers in my book that I took because they seemed to have done an excellent job. One is near the airport, the other is out near Ratoath. I don't know of anyone out your neck of the woods. What about that lad in Saggart - he has oven facilities, etc. Don't know anything about his work though. There's another crowd over near the Spawell who are supposed be very well regarded for their work. Can't remember their name though.....
So going for black then! Getting conservative in your old age or wannabe Soprano?? 8) ;-)
A black of a navy with Black windows...machine guns in the lights... ejectable seat...
I think I know the guys your talking about near the Spawell. Last time I went in there for a quote to fix a small bumper damage, I nearly came out with a shore arse... if you know what i mean.
Could anyone tell me will the respray be above or below 5000 euro?
If you could PM me the numbers you have Brian, and I 'll see what they quote me. (thats if you don't mind.. ;))

Dennings is the name of the company near the Spawell. They may be expensive, but as far as I know a lot of the main dealers actually use their services for repairs.
Isn't there also a body repair company on the Kilemore Road in Ballyfermot?

So you're sticking with the beemer then Phil? I can remember a time when you were contemplating the Audi for a while, or was it the Alfa?
It was a Audi A4 I was interested in.(still am) But the money factor has to be brought in. So If I keep my bmw for 3 years, it would be cheaper to get it resprayed, and feel like I have a new car for the time been.

You'll have to buy a can of that new car smell so. ;-)
Well its looking like its going to cost somewhere between 3000 and 3500 for a top end job.
The new car smell cost, priceless.... Sounds like a credit card ad. ;)
I will keep you updated with what happens.
