Factor 30+ SunTan Lotion Stains on paintwork

Does anyone have any good advice on removing Sun Tan Lotion stains from Metallic Paintwork ? Waxing / T-Cut etc etc has proved thus far hopeless. Any advice would be greatfully recieved.

Bad news.

I've seen this before and there was no fix for it. The chemicals in the lotion react with the paint and you get a stain or a "shadow". When I saw it, it was in the perfect shape of a kids hand-print, and it was right through to the base coat.

Sorry we can't be more help with this one. Its a job for a paint-shop.

Had a breakthrough on this. 3M make a product called Finesse-It which is a polish 3 times+ the strength of T-Cut. Used very carefully, it seems to do the job. Also AutoGlym make a product called Paint Revovator which also seems to work.:)
