my renault clio doors will still open with my key but the ignition will not start. i tried opening the key and moving all the bits to a spare key and making sure nothing had come loose but it hadn't. still nothing - but the doors did still work. i've been told its the actual immobiliser and that it will cost £300+ from renault. is there anyway i can just have the immobilser permanently disabled?? i know its bloody handy to have but isn't not essential right?? please help!!
