This is one of the trickier issues to diagnose without having the car present. It could be anything from an air leak in your PCV hose, to a faulty ECU or even worn or faulty spark plugs.
So to clarify further, let me ask you, is it an intermittent problem or does it happen every time she puts her foot down on the accelerator?
Also, how old is the car?
And finally, whan was the last time it had a proper tune-up?

My guess would be something electronic ... possibly a worn TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) ... especially if it's an intermittent problem.
I tend not to deal with cars as modern as this - but to me that sounds like a classic case of over fueling - which isn't necessarily caused by having too much fuel going into the engine. Not having enough air going into the engine will also cause overfueling.
Or if 1 of the sensors isn't working properly and (for example) puts enough fuel into the engine for full throttle when the car is only on 50% throttle, you'll have too much fuel for the air present, causing overfueling.
Its a 2002, and it happens intermitently, garage computer shows up nothing. Could it be dirt in fuel tank?

Highly unlikely ... but not impossible.
You could try some Injector Cleaner - probably about £5 (sorry - don't work in monopoly money ... oops! I mean Euros :D ) from any good motor factor. Simple to use (pour in tank and drive car) - cheap and may help clear out your injectors if you've got dirt clogging them up.
Never tried it myself, so can't vouch for how well they work (if at all).
thanks laursen, appreciate it

Hesitating like your describing could possibly be the ignition coil or the catlytic converter. Does the problem occur everytime she drives? is it more frequent when the car is hot?
Hi Car DoctorYa it mostly happens when its hot and does not happen every time she drives. by taking her foot off accelerator and replacing it stops the hesitation
