Moto Guzzi was recently bought by Italian competitor Aprilia for about 70 mivvion in Irish currency. Personally, I think this can turn out to be a good thing. Guzzi has never had a good management, but Aprilia must be doing something right, because they've offered competitive new machines from the word go, first in the lighter classes, but now also in the ultra-competitive race replica market. Let's just hope we don't have to suffer mixes like that of the old Benelli/Guzzi constellation.
