I recently purchased a 1997 1.9 TD renault scenic and since I bought it there has been a whine from the engine on start up. Its ok after a while but the initial few minutes can be quite noisy. There is also a knocking sound when first started up. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have been led to believe that the problem may be quite severe.:confused:
