New Black Magane

Hi recentyl purchased a Black 2004 megane with only 16,000 miles on it.
i have noticed light scratches probably from putting it through car washes.

Im thinking about purchasing Meguiars scratch & swirl remover and using it on the whole car and then when i have this done waxing it with meguiars Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax.

Do you think this is appropriate?

What type of mitt or towel is best to apply these products?

Any other suggestions?

Meguiars have a good reputation so you will probably do a reasonable job with these products.

There may still be some deeper scratches in the clearcoat which will be hard to get rid of without a more abrasive polish..... one of the negatives about owning a black car....

Polish application should be with a soft 100% cotton cloth. buffing off is good with a microfibre towel.
