Actually I called you a confused f*cked up halfwit! Not for your speed but for the way you behaved.

Nice heated argument there guys! Well done. Allow me to pull this one onto a broader level and make a few comparisons with driving standards in other European countries.
I think a lot of drivers will need to get back to drawing board on the use of the Fast lane, as it seems to be commonplace that this lane is used as a normal lane. It should ONLY be used when overtaking or when you intend to turn right on a Dual Carriage way. A lot of drivers seem to be very reluctant to return to the normal lane if they see another car a few miles down the road!!! and keep hogging the right lane, or 10 miles before the right turn they already take the fast lane in fear they won't be able to squeeze in. Drivers seem to be oblivous of what is happening behind them.
It is always a relief when I am back on the Continent, to see that everybody really promptly return to their correct lane after overtaking. Also the flashing of lights is NOT considered a major insult as it is over here. It is QUITE NORMAL when the person in front makes no attempt to return to the slow lane after overtaking, you are allowed to flash your lights to remind them somebody is following and would like to pass. Here, this is considered an absolute insult, equivalent to sticking up the middle finger!! Maybe if we would start looking at it from a different perspective, we wouldn't get so worked up about people flashing their headlights behind you. We all do it to warn each other for Garda patrol cars ahead, don't we ;)

We all know that officially it's call the overtaking lane, we just choose to call it the fast lane. I usually never leave the lane but I can assure you I know exactly what's behind me. Get caught doing 100mph here and you get at least 3 points but a nice fine so you have to keep regular checks for the doughnut boys.

For goodness sake, all you have to do is wait until a HGV is thundering towards you, move in to the kerb and wave him out. End of annoying little pr**k, and you continue on at your leisurely 90mph :D

Astraman, Why were you going so slow, I'd do that in 3rd in my Scoobie!! http://www.eforecourt.com/UBB/angel.gif You should buy a Subaru. The boy racer will never attempt any passing manouvers then, I know, ask Scrawny. :D ;)

Astraman, you are a complete tit. In fact you are the finished article among tits everywhere. You lied about the overtaking and you changed your story under pressure.
Besides which, can an Astra do 90mph? Perhaps at a serious push, despite what the manufacturer says.
Maybe you could race Josh in his 1.6GL with 15" alloys? See who could get to 90...
Deirdre.

I guess you'd know all about tits Deirdre.
Where exactly did I lie under pressure?
And also I think it's time you did a test drive in an Astra. They're alot quicker than you think.Hell we all know Subaru's are fast cars and alot of us here know Josh B(P.Byrne) is a bit of a Lunatic.Look at his post on MW about passing cars going to work & you'll see what I mean.

Hey Josh B here, forget the other guy. He's my goodie goodie side, hate that cnut!! http://www.eforecourt.com/UBB/sick.gif
As for my passing out article my speed and manovures were far less than yours. At 90mph, boxing in people into the inside lane because your Machoness can't bear to be overtaken by of all things a Nova. I too am surprised that an Astra can do 90mph. Are you sure it wasn't a wet dream for you, it must have been a nightmare for everyone else around you and Novaman.
In another thread you call me not clever for making a minor mistake when filling in registeration but DID I ENDANGER ANYONES LIFE ASSH*LE. http://www.eforecourt.com/UBB/angryfire.gif
