Foggy crashed with a backmarker the last race in Australia and broke his Humerus bone (ain't that humerous :D )
Apart from that, there were lots of action, with constant passing and crashing all over the place. Gobert took a very surprising win in the first leg on his Bimota, while fellow Australian Corser won the second leg on his Aprilia. Bimota is in its first season, while Aprilia entered the fray only last year. This certainly beats F1 to hell and back

He's out for at least 3 races (about 6 weeks). Here's a fresh report:
Foggy: I don't need no stinkin' retirement
About a year ago, Mick Doohan crashed hard trying valiantly to win wet practice at Jerez, a crash that ultimately cost Doohan his career. Some wonder if the same thing is in store for Superbike superhero Carl Fogarty, who crashed at Phillip Island, injuring his shoulder.
Ducati's Foggy says he's not ready for the non-racing life.
""I will be back on my bike very soon," Sir Carl said today. "Now I have to concentrate on recovering and to returning to fitness and ready to race. There is nothing to make me consider retirement from racing. I will be at Donington Park as a spectator to be very close to my fans and my team. And then back again racing as soon as possible."
According to the Ducati Corse release, the British rider will leave for Blackburn tomorrow, along with his wife Michaela, arriving in England on Sunday morning.
Many interested persons have always wondered what would happen to WSC crowd counts in England after Carl is no longer racing. The Donington round this year may very well be a decent case study.
