Impreza P1

According to Autocar, its a bit lame next to the Evo VI. A little disappointing, but has anyone been in one yet? Come to think of it, what's the Evo like? (I could never buy one, they look absolutely creamcrackerish in white with white alloys and a huge wing at the rear, IMHO, does anyone actualy like the way they look?

Yeah actually I do like the looks. They're outrageous looks appeal to me in the same way a 3dr Cosworth or and Escort Cosworth does, but definitely not a white one.......no way... never!!
I can still see why people would prefer a more subtle car though...in fact I'm constantly swinging one way then the other

Theres been a few of us debating about this with a while as well since the onslaught of Impreza child round Waterford (ie the kid who has just got a factory job and has too much money in his hands). I've driven an Evo 3 but never an Impreza .. I really like the looks of the Evo I would think if given the choice in the morning I'd go for an Evo over a scooby (unless it was a 22B)

One of my friends has a '98 Impreza Turbo which I've driven a few times. I also have driven '95 & 97 Imprezas as I was thinking of buying one a while back. I think they're fabulous,especially the engine note with a decent system on it.
I drove an Evo 5 about 2 years ago and it was very very but sounded flat or boring.That would put me off, but the fact the car felt quicker than the Subaru might peruade me.
