£6.4 Million for a Ferrari

This rare Ferrari could claim its place in the record books when it goes under the hammer this month. The 250 GTO, one of only 39 built, claimed a class victory at Le Mans in 1963.

Experts say it could smash the £6.4million record for the most expensive car ever sold.

Ahh the 250GTO is one of my all time favourites, that and the 250LM are the epitome of Ferrari IMO.

Are you sure that 6.4 Million is the largest amount ever paid for a car. I recall a larger figure for either another Ferrari or a Bugatti being close to twice that figure!

But as you are aware I'm getting old and my memory is fading fast!! :D
