I have been asked by the one of the a2zsoccer.com lads to ask you guys about the pro's and con's of a second hand madza 323 1.5. He is interested in buying one but wants to know more about it before doing so.

Have you any comments for him.

cheers Phil.

With it being a 1.5 engine it sounds like an import to me .. is there any further detail or is this one of those shady dockside deals ???

It probably doesn't matter what version of the 323 they're talking about!

If its a 323 F, then its a hairdressers car.

The 323 is a (like all Jap cars) reliable car that should get you from A to B and back to A without any worries and very little excitement. Dull and boring on the inside, but solid all the same. Not a drivers car by any means, but then again what is in this class?

Simply put, unblinking unthinking motoring.

Now go and tell them its great! ;) :clown:

It's a 1996 1.5 323 hatchback as far as I can gatter. It's a "Irish model" so I'm told, and it had one careful owner who I think lives with the little old lady down the road.;)

If you can give me any more details about these cars it would be much apreciative.

cheers Phil.
