If there’s one thing I can’t understand is people who just can’t wait till they arrive into work/home to read their newspaper. Instead they have to read it from front to back in their car. I mean they pick it up and proceed to either read an article until someone blows their horn to get them moving, or they’re peering up above the newspaper like a nervous animal every other sentence. How the hell can someone take in what they’re reading like this? Its simply an annoyance to other motorists. Do you belong to the newsreader club then?
Yep, fraid I'm guilty of that vice also. Just a quick scan of the headlines mind and haven't heard a honk from another car yet.
I must admit that I have, on occasion, been guilty of this rather annoying habit. It’s all so easy to collect the paper on your way in to the office and have it sitting conveniently on the passenger seat. You get stuck in traffic and you glance over at the paper to read the headlines. Then you become more engrossed and read down the small print to finish the article. Before you know it the traffic has moved on in front and there’s a less then happy motorist behind you cursing you out of it. Maybe in a few years time cars will have virtual newspapers built into the dash :)

In our traffic system in Dublin, its very hard not to look at the paper when stuck in traffic. So instead of being bored stupid http://www.eforecourt.com/UBB/sleep.gif in the car you tend to bring the morning paper with you.
As tony said, it’s all so easy to collect the paper on your way in to the office and glance over at the paper to read the headlines and before you know it your blown from behind from a driver who is ready to explode. http://www.eforecourt.com/UBB/disturbed.gif
