Went to the pumps this morning thinking I'd get in there before the expected price increase, but I was too late! :(

The prices for unleaded appear to have risen about 4p per litre. The cheapest I saw this morning was 67.9p per litre in a Statoil service station (was 63.9p yesterday).

Any other prices to report from around the country?

Those Fat Suv driving barstewards in the states are buying up fuel at a bender cos they are going on holidays soon. So by panic buying they are driving the price up. Also that refinery in the UK that went up in smoke, plus the recent disaster on the worlds largest rig going under has affected it also.

That’s bad luck toad :(

I checked out the Statoil station on the Dublin quays yesterday. They actually still had their price held at 63.9p per litre, so needless to say I filled her up there.

To add to that, unbelievably, they STILL had that price displayed this morning – fair play to them!

That statoil must be selling what they have at the cost they bought it at, so when they refill their tanks the price will go up. the rest are creaming the extra few pence
