Luas road works

Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me how long these Luas roadworks are going to last for? The traffic alone the Naas Road at times is a joke.

Does anyone have any information on the Luas project?


Just on another note, if anyone is heading out towards Naas, watch out for the new speed camera near the Poteen Still. It's hidden in the bushes alone the middle verge. So TAKE NOTE... you have been warned.:D

The road coming from the quays by Heuston Station outbound is split into two with a triangle shape barrier between both halves (due to Luas works).

I came down that way a couple of weeks back at around 8:45PM. There was very little traffic about and so I was doing a heck of a speed (if there are any Garda reading this, I was doing 30mph, really I was! ;) ). I didn't know about the road changes, as it wasn't there that morning. I have to admit I had some fun having to making a split decision on whether it was safer to take the left or right chicane, and barely made it through without clipping the barrier. Made me feel like I was driving in Monaco! Not that I have repeated that manoeuvre again though. :angel:
