Anyone see this weeks driven?

3 awesome cars pitched against one another - Ferrari 360 Modena v Porsche 911 Turbo v TVR Tuscan S.

Man, what machines! The TVR certainly did very well against the other two considering its lower price. But I really think that the Porsche 911 Turbo faired the best. Ah, lets all dream on....

I don't think that Ireland's Drive! could ever match that!

Anyways, next week has another good head-to-head battle - the Audi A4 against the Jaguar X-Type and BMW 3-Series.

My money's on the BM!

Here's more details.... from http://www.4car.co.uk

Ferrari 360 Modena
£103,068
3586 cc
0-60 4.5 sec
Ferrari provides the benchmark in this group and the standard is set pretty high with this 360 Modena. Its looks aren't to everyone's taste, but there's no disputing when you get behind the wheel that this is a car with track-bred performance. A real supercar.

Porsche 911 Turbo
£87,250
3600 cc
0-60 3.9 sec
The 911 has been around in one form or another since 1964 and this 996 Turbo certainly keeps the legend alive. It's the only turbocharged car here, but you wouldn't know it, for Porsche has done something pretty amazing, which is to get rid of nearly all the turbo lag.

TVR Tuscan
£48,800
3996 cc
0-60 in 3.9 sec
All right, those two may offer pedigree and performance, but at what price? For the price of either of them, you could have a Tuscan S and a lump of money left over in your pocket. It looks, goes and sounds like something from another planet - even if it takes its name from a man called Trevor.
