I've haven't noticed too many new 02 registrations around so far. In fact I've only seen one, and someone I know owns that one!

Has anyone else noticed very few new 2002 cars on the roads? If so is it a sign that Irish car sales will be down again this year compared with 2001?

spotted a citroen C5 with 02-D-634 or something similar, when all this euro nonsense calms down abit maybe afew more will take the plunge... WHAT im not giving 16,233 euros for a new punto.. should've been a good way of laundering "punts" though.. although ive seen afew dodgy bucks driving S class Merc's on the run upto x-mass...

A interesting question whippy.

I have'nt see a single 02 reg. Now I don't know is it because the conditions are so bad, that most of the car regs are covered by mud.

On the other hand, 528i has a point about the euro. Alot of people holding off till they get used to the euro.

Big slow down for new cars. I pity some of the new car salesmen, they hav'nt had to sell a car before now, the cars use to sell themselves. Let the panic set in. :p

Things aren't too bad - just seen a Merc with a 02 reg over 5000. Still not like the last few years though I bet. Anybody got car sales figures for this year so far?

Well do date i think i have only seen 2, and they were no way close to the 5000 mark (for D reg cars).

With a name like yours, it leaves alot to be desired :p

Are you sure it was over the 5000 mark?
